Thanks to Girlktalk Forum I've known a lot of things with regards to wedding preps.

Hiring a wedding coordinator / planner is really a must-have for soon to be wedded couples. With the professional guidance of an event coordinator, the couple will learn how to sort things out properly.

I am proud to say that we're an overseas hands-on BUDGET couple. HAHA! Yes, budget is really important to us, hence i need to give emphasize on it.

Usually, upon inquiry, coordinator will fully explain their complete duties and responsibilities as per package.

Wedding coordinator here in PH usually has these types of packages:

1. OTD (On-The Day) Coordination Package - This package suits for a very hands-on couple. The couple will arrange and book all the suppliers that they need, then will turn it over to the coordinator prior to the wedding day. (Time frame usually depends on the planner that you'll get.) From the word itself, OTD - they'll be more focus on the day of the wedding.
2. Semi Coordination Package - This package means the couple already settled at least half of the preparation and can no longer continue by themselves. By then, the coordinator will shoulder the remaining tasks until it's fully done. OTD also included in this package.
3. Full Coordination Package - The couple will just need to provide their budget and time frame. This means the coordinator will take charge of the over-all preparation. The planner will be the one who will scout for all the needed suppliers and present it to the couple for approval. This is commonly preferred by couples who are working overseas or couples with very busy schedules who cannot have an ample of time for preparation. OTD also included in this package.
