My Dream Church: Caleruega

credit: http://ianandkat.strikingly.com/

After all the discussions, brain-storming, some scouting, and considerations - we've finally decided on where are we going to be married. Yay!!!

We're getting married in my dream wedding church, Transfiguration Chapel Caleruega in Nasugbu Batangas.

You may check my previous post on why we ended up choosing this church.

I've noted below informations based on my own research, and changes can be made without prior notice.

  • Down Payment - Php 5,000.00 to block the date (deducted to total cost)

  • They have their own priest but you can bring your own

  • Kampo Ariba (Capm Site) - cap. 200 persons Php 40,000.00
  • Reservation fee to any of their venue is Php 10,000.00
Here's our step-by-step process since we're both working overseas.
  1.  I've sent an inquiry through their email regarding our chosen date.
  2.  Since our date is still available, I asked a favor to one of our good friends to go to Caleruega to block-off our wedding date.
  3.  After the down payment, Caleruega sent an email confirmation to me with attached list of requirements that we need to submit with timeline as well.
NOTES:
  •  All transactions made in Caleruega is first come per serve basis. Strictly No Pencil Booking Policy.
  •  They only accept cash basis for down payment transactions. Someone or any representative should go straight to their head office for the booking process. They will allow bank transfers for the balances according to one of their former brides i spoke with.
  •  If you want to have your wedding at 3PM, make sure that you'll book your chosen date as early as a year or 2 in advance(No Joke! Since Caleruega is one of the most sought after wedding destination churches in the Philippines.) You can request their full wedding calendar copy as well to choose your preferred date.
  •  They are prompt to respond by email and polite too.
  •  They can answer your query as much as possible.

To be honest, we're not really familiar in Tagaytay. Mr. J and I never been in
this place - together. HAHA! Yes, I've been to Tagaytay with perks, and Mr J.
visited the place with his family, but as WE? We didn't, ever. Well, that adds to
the excitement for us. We'll get married to a place we've never been to, so our
wedding will become our first memory in that very special place.

xoxo,
AnJ ♥
